With the threat of rain all day it never came which made taking the outdoor photos a real treasure for this great fun loving couple. However, I believe rain would have washed right off of them. They were very easy going and I think they would have taken a rain storm in stride. Thankfully though the weather was near perfect.

I had a wonderful opportunity to shoot with Sammie. An amazing young lady who reminded me of my trips to Hawaii as she strummed on her Ukulele. We shot around Lake Clara Meer at Piedmont Park in Downtown Atlanta. We took photos on the pier and on the bridge at the gazebo. Some really nice spots for photos and we didn’t even see 1/4 of the park. I hope to shoot there again someday soon!

Some Free Time To Spend On The Web Sites

Since I’ve got some free time I have been working on both of my websites. This one and my personal website. I have been tweaking this one a little bit so I can make it more visible on the search engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing). It’s been a painstaking ordeal but in the long run I think it will be worth it.

I will be working on the Best of 2012 in the next couple weeks. I’m not sure if I’ll do a regular slide show or another video. The video was fun to create and I think it really turned out nice. In the meanwhile I will continue working on this site. 

New Video Promotion

I just finished a new promotional video. I was up until 2:30 this morning working on it. A few of the photos are from Joe and Melody’s wedding (the blog entry below this one) and there are photos from past weddings as well. While I was not able to represent every wedding I’ve shot (I wanted to keep the video at around 4:30 long) but I do feel that the photos I selected represent some of my best work.

Since this is my first post to my blog I figured I’d add a bunch of photos for you all to look at. It’s not very often that I get to shoot an outdoor wedding and I must say they are really fun. September is a great month for weddings here. Not too hot, not too cold. Just right. Weather was beautiful on this day. Which made for a wonderful ceremony and a great reception. I met Joe and all of his groomsmen first and got a few photos of them posing and I managed to grab some candid shots of them as well. I didn’t meet the bride until she came walking down the aisle to the Darth Vader Theme. Great entrance! I wish I had that on video.
