I have been an avid photographer for over 30 years. I started in high school my Freshman year working as the newspaper photographer and yearbook photographer. Using a Pentax K1000 I purchased at Sears was how I honed my skills in photography. Over the years I finally got into digital photography. First with a couple of Kodak Point and shoot cameras. In 2001 I shot my first wedding all with an Olympus and Pentax film cameras. In 2005 I invested in my first Canon DSLR. I bought my first Professional Canon DSLR and I haven't stopped there. I started shooting weddings exclusively for a small wedding event planner. I shot over 40 weddings between 2010 and 2012 with them. In 2013 I parted ways with that event planner and have been doing freelance photography ever since. The latest wedding I've done was on June 20th, 2015.
I've taken a Photoshop class and a basic photography class in 2009 and 2010. I learned quite a bit in that Photoshop class and there is quite a lot of useful tools to use when editing photos. My rule of thumb is to get it near perfect in camera so that I don't have to spend so much time in Photoshop.
Currently my photography schedule is WIDE OPEN. I am working a full time job but getting a weekend off to shoot a wedding or portraits would be as easy as pie for me. So if you like what you see here please feel free to give me a buzz and we'll chat.
